Sometimes people look at the photos I take of them and say "oh gawd, my double chin" or "is that MY ass?" or I get the eyebrow and "really?". I guess what I'm missing is how everyone perceives themselves. I find people beautiful. When I shoot them, I'm not looking for the "supermodel" image. I mostly am looking to capture the emotion of that precise moment. And share it. Admittedly, I'm still learning but I see something unique and fascinating in almost everyone I meet. (and some who maybe didn't see me with my big a$$ camera pointed in their direction) You see the double chin... I see the gleam beaming out of your face as you gaze down at your child. Your ass? All I saw was the love and laughter as you piledrived your boyfriend into the ground. I guess what I'm trying to say people is that you're beautiful. In every light, from every angle. Don't waste so much time and energy picking yourself apart. It's the whole shebang that matters. And believe me, it's beautiful.
